Meet The Band
Born out of a local music school and a shared love for great songs, The Comebacks formed in early 2024 to prove that rock and roll knows no age limit.
What started as a few musicians chasing their passion quickly grew into a band with a sound all its own.
Female-fronted and harmony-driven, we blend the spirit of 70s Americana, the attitude of 90s alt-rock, and the groove of modern soul into something fresh, familiar, and full of feeling.
Because for us, it’s simple: great songs never get old — they just get new life.
We’re all about good vibes, great songs, and keeping live music alive... one comeback at a time.
Devin
At Devin’s house, creativity runs wild! One minute she’s indigo dyeing, the next she’s giving old furniture a second life. On stage, she’s The Comebacks’ resident multitasker, handling guitar, harmonies, and mandolin. As the band’s chart wrangler, Devin keeps everything running smoothly (and sounding tight). Without her, we’d probably still be in the garage arguing over the last beer.
Emily
After a decade of globe-trotting, Emily’s back in Minnesota and shaking things up. She’s our powerhouse lead vocalist, with a voice that fills the room. From setlists to schedules, to color coded spreadsheets she’s also the secret sauce behind The Comebacks’ organized chaos, making sure the show runs smoothly and everyone knows what’s next.
Keith
Meet Keith, our freshly retired rockstar and resident good-time guru. After a whirlwind of world travels, he picked up the bass to add a little groove to retirement and hasn’t put it down since. He’s the reason The Comebacks landed our very first gig, and the reason every rehearsal feels like a party. Who says retirement has to be quiet?
Lauren
Meet Lauren, our resident beat keeper. She’s been around percussion for ages, but it wasn’t until recently that she took the plunge behind the drum kit. Now she’s the one keeping us all in rhythm. With her infectious enthusiasm and effortless groove, Lauren makes sure The Comebacks never skip a beat (literally). We can’t wait to see what rhythmic shenanigans she gets us into next!
Ryan
Meet Ryan, our guitar-slinging band dad. He’s lived in seven states but found his home in Minnesota, bringing not just rippin’ solos, but also the high-tech gear. Whether he’s whipping up impromptu charts on the whiteboard, navigating tricky measures, or nudging us back on course, Ryan ensures the band sounds tight and the vibes stay high.
Mark
Meet Mark, our sound wizard and the unsung hero of The Comebacks. Without him, we’d just be a group of people making a racket! He’s the one wrangling cords, pushing buttons, and magically transforming our garage-band chaos into a tight, polished show. From dialing in the perfect mix to keeping every note balanced, Mark ensures we sound as good as we look.
